Based on MRI scans undertaken at the Visible Heart Laboratory, University of Minnesota, US, by Professor Paul Iaizzo and his team. This sculpture was in the exhibition 'Ceaseless Motion: William Harvey's experiments in Circulation' at The Royal College of Physicians, London. The work is now in the permanent collection of The Royal College of Physicians. The upscaled 'Heart of Glass' is in the permanent collection of the the world's leading cardiothoracic hospital, The Royal Papworth in Cambridge.
